Miners sifting for gold dust, Congo

1 comment:

  1. These workers are processing large amounts of gravel, to eventually extract the gold dust within it. There are many mines like this one throughout africa, where minerals like tantalum, tungsten, tin and gold, will later fetch a high price in the international electronics market; this is due to the fact that the minerals are passed through so many different processing facilities and merchants, until the origins of the pure metals are no longer retrace-able.
